MoshStar is a home for music discovery — official music videos, artist profiles, album and single releases, festival lineups, and the news around them, all in one place and organized so you can actually find things.
What we cover
We track artists across rock and metal, country, hip-hop, pop, R&B, Latin and electronic music — from arena headliners to the bands breaking out of local scenes. Every artist page pulls their music videos, discography and live dates together, so a single page answers “what has this band put out, and where can I watch it?”
We pay special attention to festivals and live music, with lineup, date and ticket information for events including Rocklahoma, Backwoods, Aftershock and more — plus the announcements and coverage as they happen.
From God of Rock to MoshStar
You may know us by our former name. MoshStar began as GodOfRock.com, covering the rock and metal scene across Arkansas, Oklahoma and the surrounding region. As our coverage grew to span every genre and reach nationwide, we rebranded to MoshStar to better reflect what the site had become. Everything came with us — the same team, the same mission, and years of artist and event coverage — just under a new name.
Who’s behind it
MoshStar is published by the NWA Mix Media Network, founded by Ken McClary. It grew out of years of covering live music and the artists we love, and exists to make that catalog useful — a fan-first guide rather than an algorithm.
How our content is made
Artist information, discographies and video links are compiled from public sources and the artists’ own official channels, and reviewed for accuracy. Music videos are official uploads embedded from their source. Some outbound links to tickets and merchandise are affiliate links — see our Privacy Policy for details.
