Rocklahoma 2022 Highlights
This year was super difficult to point out highlights because there were so many great moments. First, lead vocalist Amy Lee of Evanescence gave a massive performance. Her vocals are so strong and she owned the crowd. Korn never disappoints. I always get pumped when the bagpipe comes out for “Shoots and Ladders.” Five Finger Death Punch put on one hell of a show, including several outfit changes by lead singer Ivan Moody. The entire crowd went nuts to “Got Your Six”. Cypress Hill, Seether, Megadeath, Motionless in White shows were all so freakin’ great too! Can’t forget about my boy Jelly Roll pulling us all together to sing “Save Me.” If you didn’t have a good experience in 2022, it’s probably because you missed it!
Two Cool Known but Unknown Bands at Rocklahoma 2022
Paralandra is an up-and-coming band that you definitely shouldn’t overlook. They rocked the stage at Rocklahoma 2022 for the second time, and they absolutely killed it! Originating from Springfield, MO, Paralandra is a hard rock band that formed in 2013. In the band, Casandra Carson is the leader, and she’s really talented at singing and playing guitar. Her performances are strong and exciting. Paul Carson, who is Casandra’s dad, also plays guitar and adds his own cool style to the music. Sawyer Rikard plays the bass and keeps the rhythm going, and Dakota Watson plays the drums and keeps the beat steady. Together, they make great music and play awesome shows.

Their live shows are known for their high energy and dedication to their craft, which has helped them amass a loyal following. Their music is characterized by intense guitar riffs, soaring vocals, and infectious melodies that will leave you wanting more. One of my personal favorites from them is “Only Human.”
