Adam Ant is a British rock icon who rose to fame as the flamboyant frontman of Adam and the Ants before launching a hit-making solo career. With his “Antmusic” blend of post-punk, new wave, and tribal-drum theatrics—plus a swashbuckling dandy-highwayman image—he became one of the defining pop stars of the early ’80s.
