Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold are the Huntington Beach, California band who grew from metalcore upstarts into one of hard rock’s most ambitious modern acts. Formed in 1999 around vocalist M. Shadows, guitarists Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance, bassist Johnny Christ and drummer The Rev, they made their mainstream leap with 2005’s City of Evil and the theatrical, self-titled 2007 album.
