Crossfade is a post-grunge and alternative-metal band from Columbia, South Carolina, who arrived with a self-titled debut, Crossfade, that turned their brooding, radio-ready sound into a breakout. The album’s centerpiece, “Cold,” became a multi-format hit and remains one of the defining rock ballads of its era.
