Napalm Death are the undisputed godfathers of grindcore, the Birmingham, England institution that pushed extreme music to its absolute limits with punishing speed, political fury and some of the shortest songs ever recorded. Their debut Scum helped birth an entire genre, and the band has spent decades evolving without ever softening their attack.
