Rod Wave is the St. Petersburg, Florida artist who turned raw, soul-drenched pain into some of the most emotionally direct music in modern rap. Born Rodarius Green, he’s a pioneer of “trap-soul,” pairing a powerful, gospel-tinged voice with hip-hop and R&B.
