Vertical Horizon

Vertical Horizon are an American rock band who broke through with a polished, radio-ready take on post-grunge and adult alternative. Anchored by the songwriting of Matt Scannell, the group built a following on melodic hooks and earnest, emotionally direct lyrics before their major-label breakthrough turned them into late-’90s alt-rock staples.

Their album Everything You Want is the cornerstone of their catalog, spinning off the chart-topping title track “Everything You Want” alongside the aching “You’re a God” and “Goodbye Again.” Earlier releases like Go and their acoustic-leaning roots rounded out a sound built for singalongs.
