Whitechapel are Knoxville, Tennessee’s deathcore heavyweights, a triple-guitar juggernaut whose brutal riffing and Phil Bozeman’s commanding vocals have made them genre leaders. Over the years they’ve grown from pure savagery toward a more dynamic, emotionally weighty sound without sacrificing heaviness.

From the self-titled Whitechapel and the atmospheric Kin to the punishing Hymns in Dissonance, their evolution is on full display, with “I, Dementia,” “Anticure” and the title track “Hymns in Dissonance” among their essentials.
