Black Veil Brides are headed back to Pryor.
Four years after their last Rocklahoma appearance, Black Veil Brides will return to the Rockin’ Red Dirt Ranch for Rocklahoma 2026, joining one of the biggest lineups assembled for the festival’s 20th anniversary.
Rocklahoma XX takes over Pryor, Oklahoma, September 4–6, 2026, with Godsmack headlining Friday, Papa Roach leading Saturday and Slayer closing the festival Sunday while celebrating the 40th anniversary of Reign in Blood. Black Veil Brides are scheduled to perform Saturday, September 5.
And for MoshStar, their return brings back some memories.
We were there the last time Black Veil Brides rolled into Rocklahoma.

On September 4, 2022, Black Veil Brides hit Rocklahoma during the festival’s 15th-anniversary weekend. They were part of a stacked Sunday lineup that also featured Five Finger Death Punch, Megadeth, Cypress Hill, Ice Nine Kills, Motionless In White, The Hu, Lit and Fire From The Gods.
MoshStar’s cameras were in the crowd that afternoon, and looking back through those photos four years later, the performance still looks exactly like a Black Veil Brides show should: black leather, guitars at full attack, a massive stage backdrop and a frontman commanding the crowd under the Oklahoma sun.
Those photos also capture an interesting moment in the band’s history.
The 2022 Rocklahoma appearance landed during the band’s Trinity of Terror Part II touring period. Setlists from shows immediately surrounding Rocklahoma included a mix of newer material and fan favorites such as “Scarlet Cross,” “Knives and Pens,” “The Legacy,” “Fallen Angels” and “In the End.”
Rocklahoma itself came right in the middle of that run: Black Veil Brides played Ralston, Nebraska on September 3, Rocklahoma on September 4 and continued the tour after leaving Pryor.
Four years later, they’re coming back as a band in another new chapter.

A Different Black Veil Brides Returns in 2026
The Black Veil Brides coming to Rocklahoma in 2026 have a lot more new music available to bring with them.
The band has released its seventh studio album, VINDICATE, produced by Jake Pitts and Andy Biersack and mixed by Zakk Cervini. The 14-track album includes songs such as “Vindicate,” “Certainty,” “Bleeders,” “Hallelujah,” “Revenger” and “Cut.”
Their Rocklahoma appearance also falls during the band’s 2026 North American touring schedule supporting the album, with the Pryor festival date officially listed for September 5.
That makes this return particularly interesting.
In 2022, Rocklahoma caught Black Veil Brides during The Phantom Tomorrow era and the Trinity of Terror run.
In 2026, Pryor gets the VINDICATE-era Black Veil Brides.
For longtime fans, that potentially means a set capable of jumping across nearly two decades of material—from the songs that built the Black Veil Brides Army to whatever the band decides to unleash from its newest album.
Saturday at Rocklahoma Is Going to Be Loaded
Black Veil Brides aren’t arriving alone.
Saturday’s Rocklahoma lineup is scheduled to be topped by Papa Roach, with Cypress Hill, Dropkick Murphys, Pennywise, Black Veil Brides, Wolfmother, Living Colour, Molly Hatchet, Militarie Gun, Teen Mortgage, Autumn Kings and others filling out the day.
That’s a pretty wild mix of hard rock, punk, hip-hop, alternative and metal packed into a single day.
It also creates another MoshStar archive connection: Cypress Hill performed the same Sunday as Black Veil Brides when we photographed Rocklahoma in 2022, and both bands are coming back in 2026. Black Veil Brides and Cypress Hill were both officially on the September 4, 2022 lineup.

Four Years Later, We’re Ready to Do It Again
Rocklahoma has always been one of those festivals where the history starts stacking up.
You shoot a band one year, stumble across the photos a few years later and suddenly realize they’re coming back to the same red dirt where you last saw them.
That’s exactly what happened when we started digging through our 2022 Black Veil Brides Rocklahoma photos.
Now we’re looking forward to creating another set.
