Skillet
John Cooper is the lead singer and bassist of Skillet. He’s also one of the band’s co-founders and the only member who’s been there since the beginning. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1975 and started playing music when he was young. Before Skillet, he was in a few other bands.
People love John’s powerful singing and how energetic he is on stage. He’s not just a singer, though – he’s a talented songwriter too! He wrote some of Skillet’s biggest hits, like “Monster,” “Whispers in the Dark,” and “Awake and Alive.”
Apart from Skillet, John Cooper also has his own thing going as a solo artist. He released two albums called “Fight the Fury” in 2018 and “Something to Say” in 2022. He’s a super talented guy and has been a big part of Skillet’s success over the years.
