Lit are the Fullerton, California rock band who became one of the defining sounds of late-1990s power-pop-punk. Their 1999 album A Place in the Sun broke them wide open on the strength of “My Own Worst Enemy” — a hook so ubiquitous it never really left rock radio — followed by the equally catchy “Miserable.”
