Aftershock 2026 is at Discovery Park, Sacramento, CA (Garden Highway / Jibboom Street entrances where the American and Sacramento rivers meet, adjacent to I-5). Five stages on the park footprint. Camping and Park & Ride staging sit at Cal Expo, 1600 Exposition Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95815.
Festival days: Thursday–Sunday, October 1–4, 2026. Campgrounds open 12pm Wednesday, September 30 and close 12pm Monday, October 5. Camping check-in windows (subject to change): Wed 12–10pm, Thu–Fri 8am–10pm, Sat–Sun 8am–12pm. Box offices at Garden Highway and Jibboom Street — hours publish closer to show week.
No general on-site parking except limited ADA (daily fee, card only, placard required). Park & Ride from Cal Expo is the cleanest car plan: free Cal Expo parking + nonstop shuttle to Discovery Park (Garden Highway gate). Shuttles start ~60 minutes before gates, run all day with limited mid-evening service, and continue ~75 minutes after the show. Each rider needs their own shuttle pass (daily or weekend). Rideshare uses the Jibboom Street zone near 500 Bercut Dr. SacRT light rail + supplemental buses also serve the Jibboom side; bike valet via Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates.
All ages — every fan needs a pass. Admission, camping, and Park & Ride shuttles sell separately. Passes ship as RFID wristbands (~4–5 weeks out). No refunds/exchanges; rain or shine. First-year Aftershock camping at Cal Expo. You need a festival pass and a camping wristband to enter. Each site includes one Camping Vehicle Pass, complimentary showers/water/toilets, camp store access, 24-hour security/medical, re-entry between camp and the fest during event hours, and an invite to the Wednesday Sep 30 Campground Pre-Party at Rock & Brews. Shuttle passes are NOT included — buy per rider. Hookups only with powered / Premium RV sites.
Expect metal detectors and a tight bag policy — pack light. Lockers (non-charging) sell at Garden Highway GA, Jibboom GA, VIP, and Capital Club locations. Is it all ages?
Yes — all ages, but every attendee needs a full-price pass. It is an outdoor, rain-or-shine festival.
Is there camping?
Yes — new for 2026 at Cal Expo. Car + Tent, General RV (no power / with power), and Premium RV full hookup, plus an Overnight Companion Vehicle add-on. Five nights starting Wednesday, September 30. Festival admission and shuttle passes are sold separately — no festival pass, no campground entry.
When can campers arrive and leave?
Campgrounds open 12pm Wednesday, September 30 and close 12pm Monday, October 5. Check-in windows run Wed–Sun with published hour blocks on the Camping Info page. Camping vehicle passes mail in advance with toll-booth directions.
