Format Festival 2024

There was no Format Festival in 2024. The Bentonville, Arkansas arts-and-music gathering, staged at The Momentary and its surrounding grounds, announced in early 2024 that it was “taking a pause” for the year rather than mounting a 2024 edition. Organizers said they would spend the year reimagining elements of the festival, citing the ongoing evolution of music, art and technology.

Format debuted in September 2022 with a lineup led by Rüfüs Du Sol, Beach House, Phoenix and Nick Cave, and returned in 2023 with Alanis Morissette, LCD Soundsystem, Leon Bridges and Modest Mouse. No 2024 dates or lineup were ever set. Browse the festival info below.
