Tantric

Tantric emerged from the ashes of Days of the New, formed by former members of that band who paired melodic, moody hard rock with the powerful vocals of frontman Hugo Ferreira. Breaking through with their self-titled debut and the enduring radio single “Breakdown,” the group became a fixture of early-2000s post-grunge and alternative metal, following up with tracks like “Astounded” and “Mourning.”

Through numerous lineup changes, Ferreira has kept Tantric going as a touring and recording force, their brooding, riff-heavy sound remaining a staple for fans of the era’s harder rock.
