Limp Bizkit

Limp Bizkit are the nu-metal juggernaut from Jacksonville, Florida — vocalist Fred Durst, guitarist Wes Borland, bassist Sam Rivers, drummer John Otto and DJ Lethal — who fused rap, metal and turntablism into one of the most commercially dominant sounds of the late ’90s and early 2000s. After their 1997 debut Three Dollar Bill, Y’all$ and the breakthrough Significant Other (1999), the band’s 2000 album Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water set a record for first-week sales by a rock act, powered by “Rollin’,” “My Way” and the Mission: Impossible 2 theme “Take a Look Around.”

Wes Borland’s theatrical guitar work (also heard in his projects Black Light Burns and Big Dumb Face) has always been a defining ingredient. After Results May Vary (2003) and the reunion record Gold Cobra (2011), a wave of renewed popularity made Limp Bizkit a must-see festival draw once more — including Inkcarceration 2026, Louder Than Life 2026 and Aftershock 2026 — with 2021’s surprise album STILL SUCKS proving their chaotic energy is fully intact.
